SPOTLIGHT: 110 Tower Phase I Renovation Complete!

We have made swift progress on 110 Tower's $15 million renovation program and are pleased to announce the completion of Phase I which encompassed the following building improvements:

Enhanced ground floor lobby and upper floor common areas
New upscale interior finishes featuring marble, wood, steel, and glass
State-of-the-art, efficient upgrades to all building mechanical, and operating systems
New exterior building lighting
New elevator cab finishes
LEED® EB Gold and ENERGY STAR® certifications

Several upper-floor lobby and restroom renovations have also been completed and more are currently underway. We are in the midst of making several parking garage improvements, including 70 newly constructed parking spaces, installing an automated parking system, and modernizing the garage elevators. Exterior building renovations are also underway, and we anticipate those to be complete by the end of the year.

110 Fitness

Temporarily occupying the seventh floor, 110 Fitness now occupies more than 23,000 square feet of workout facilities filled with cardio machines, strength and free weight equipment, locker rooms, and towel and laundry service. The dual-level fitness center provides everything you need to make exercise a part of your daily routine, and offers a full array of corporate and small business plans, personal training packages and group classes. New York Bagel Cafe & Deli

Tenants can look forward to a new eatery opening up at 110 Tower with New York Bagel Cafe & Deli. Based in upstate New York, the Bagel Cafe & Deli has selected 110 Tower for its first Florida location and will be open for breakfast and lunch by the end of this year. New York Bagel Café & Deli will be located on the ground-floor facing the Broward County Courthouse, and offer an assortment of bagels and an array of complementary foods such as deli meats, smoked salmon, spreads, and richly brewed gourmet coffees. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available.

Euro Bites Bistro

Euro Bites Bistro is now open on the seventh floor for breakfast and lunch. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. To place an order at the cafe call 954.533.7267.

110 Tower to Host 3rd Annual American Lung Association "Fight for Air" Climb Fort Lauderdale

On Saturday, November 12, 2011, more than 700 participants from around the county will join together in the fight against lung disease, climbing 110 Tower's 30 flights of stairs at the third annual "Fight for Air" Climb Fort Lauderdale. This unique fundraiser and physical fitness challenge totaling more than 600 vertical steps benefits the American Lung Association's mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

The event takes place during November's Lung Cancer Awareness Month, bringing together residents, business, community and civic organizations, and police and fire departments in the fight against lung disease.

8:30 a.m. - Climb begins

Tenant BBQ

At 110 Tower, we enjoy fostering a sense of community, and our quarterly "Meet Your Neighbors" events bring tenants together for an opportunity to meet outside of the office environment.

On August 22, more than 400 building tenants and staff came together for a barbecue held on 7th floor of 110 Tower.

Great food and pleasant company... it doesn't get much better than that!

On July 13, 110 Tower welcomed 50 VIP guests for a private gathering in the 7th floor ballroom to celebrate the LEED Gold certification of the largest commercial building in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

On hand for the celebration were Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler, 110 Tower's design team, building contractors, tenants, members of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the Downtown Development Authority of Fort Lauderdale, NAIOP of South Florida, and U.S. Green Building Council of South Florida. Hors d'oeuvres were served as a saxophonist entertained the crowd.

Robert Cannellos, president of the U.S. Green Building Council of South Florida, presented 110 Tower with a plaque, officially designating the building as LEED Gold certified. As dusk set in, 110 Tower's new exterior lighting system was lit green in honor of the significant milestone.

U.S. Green Building Council South Florida Chapter Names 110 Tower South Florida's Best in LEED for Existing Building Category

U.S. Green Building Council South Florida Chapter Names 110 Tower South Florida's Best in LEED for Existing Building Category.

110 Tower was the center of attention at this year's GalaVerde 2011 Awards, winning the award for LEED for Existing Buildings presented by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) South Florida Chapter.

GalaVerde is USGBC South Florida Chapter's annual LEEDership and Green Awards program, designed to recognize and honor outstanding individuals, companies, projects, elected officials and municipalities in the South Florida region that have implemented and are committed to green-building innovation. This year's competition yielded winners in 11 categories with 110 Tower beating out several LEED for Existing Building entrants.

September 7, 2011 Named "110 Tower Day" in recognition of LEED Gold Certification

110 Tower is pleased to announce that Mayor Jack Seiler and the City Commission of Fort Lauderdale have designated September 7, 2011 as "110 Tower Day" in the City of Fort Lauderdale.

The Proclamation, presented by Commissioner Romney Rogers during the City Commission meeting on September 7, was issued in recognition of 110 Tower earning the prestigious LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
